Trees NC Summer Programs Underway

Trees NC’s YES! East Side (youth environmental service) program is underway with a busy schedule of summer activities.

Projects include the East Side Community Garden, urban tree care projects, litter walks, stream watch programs, tree nursery management, and a summer mural project.

Support from Resourceful Communities, Randolph Hospital Community Health Foundation, The Park Foundation and local organizations such as the Weed N Win Garden Club and Gold Hill Landscape and Landfill have provided the funds to keep this dynamic program growing for the second year.
