Trees Asheboro Advisory Committee Forming

Trees Asheboro's community garden hosts Youth Environmental Service program
Since our beginning in 2003, Trees Asheboro has been performing life changing environmental service projects in Asheboro and the surrounding area. As time passed, the seeds we planted in Asheboro began to grow - to towns in the nearby area - Liberty, Seagrove, Greensboro and Kernersville.

It became apparent that Trees Asheboro's model programs held great potential to spread and bring new life to communities across North Carolina. In 2010, we officially changed the name of our organization to Trees NC. With this change, Asheboro continued to be our home - and the key target area for our programs.

The next step of our growth is for Trees Asheboro to develop independance - to have seperate leadership and a local advisory board. The Trees Asheboro Advisory Committee currently includes key volunteers, a former board member of Trees NC, and new supporters. If you or someone you know is interested in joining us, contact Trees Asheboro at 336-558-6966.
